Stainless Steel 316 Coils are austenitic stainless steel contains chromium & nickel as base metal and addition of molybdenum.
The additional molybdenum gives 316 SS Coils better corrosion resistance and higher resistance to pitting & crevice corrosion.
Apart from this, UNS S31600 Stainless Steel Coils have excellent welding and forming characteristics.
ASTM A240 316 Stainless Steel Coils gives high toughness at cryogenic temperatures. These SS Coils can easily bed weld using all types of standard fusion methods with or without filler metals.
